In Home Lifestyle Newborn Baby Girl Session
I was super excited when Nikki contacted me for an in-home newborn session. Nikki hired me two years ago for her son JJ’s newborn session. That session left me with such a strong memory. One image from that session remains one of my most loved creations at all times!
“We returned because we loved our shots from our first session and you were so patient with our newborn. The pictures came out great.” – Nikki
Nikki and Justin chose not to find out the baby’s gender this time.
“My Mom said she was surprised for me and my siblings, so we wanted to try it. I did have a feeling it was a girl, though.” – Nikki
They name the baby Naomi because their son’s name Jackson (JJ) has the same initial as Justin. So Nikki wanted their baby girl’s name to begin with “N”. They also loved “Mimi” as a nickname for Naomi.
JJ, the tiny baby boy in my newborn session 2 years ago, is now a big brother!
“We do feel more relaxed overall as second time parents. For this session, although we definitely wanted some newborn solo shots of just Naomi, we were also really looking forward to having shots of just the kids, and all of us as a new family of four.” – Nikki
One tip Nikki would like to share with families taking newborn session that involves a toddler sibling, is that plan the session when you know your toddler will be in the best mood and not tired or cranky!
Although the session is mostly planned as lifestyle, at the end, I did have time to include a few studio style pictures.

She listened to what type of photos we were looking to achieve and offered suggestions since she is in fact the professional! I hired her to do my daughters first birthday party photos and she captured the moment perfectly. I was so pleased with her work I hired her again to do a mother and daughters photo shoot for Mother’s Day. She NAILED IT one of the most beautiful photo shoots I have ever seen.
